*RE: NO CONTROVERSY ON WHO LEADS AWORI KINGDOM... OLOTA OF OTTA*

Irrespective of whatever error that might have been in Prof. Akintoye's book, that listed Akran, an Egun king as an Awori king, whereas, Akran never claimed same, Olota of Otta, Oba AbdulKabir Obalanlege ought not to have ever relied on such as authentic Awori History!

Also, his listing Ado-Odo, which has never been under any other towns since 1050AD, that Ado-Odo had her first king, a female, called Oba Esibi, Adegba, Oloja Obinrin till date, as a town under Otta is another tactical error that needs not to come from a highly revered and well educated king like the Olota of Otta, as in his interview, available on the YouTube link - https://youtu.be/Ngvk00k_2F8 

Not until the year 1989, that Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government was created, out of the requests for Awori West, with headquarters in Ado-Odo, and Awori East, with headquarters in Otta, that were merged by the *"powers-that-be-outside-Aworiland"* to create Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, there is never any history of Ado-Odo ever being under Otta.

None! And if any, Kabiesi Olota needs to present such, away from the obvious error of Prof. Akintoye, who listed an Egun king, as an Awori king?!

For the records, Ado-Odo independently signed her treaty with the colonial authority in 1863 and 1891 without her being under any other prescribed authority.

Much as we at Ado-Odo do not want to be party to the various ongoing abuses on the social media between Otta and Isheri among others, we will not keep quiet, and allow our chequered history to be rubished.
